Welcome to Westside Eucalyptus­farm

As a fifth generation, we are active in agriculture and horticulture. When we were young, we remember the work in the greenhouse harvesting vegetables and preparing them for market. We had green in our genes and we were involved in green care on a daily basis also out of enthusiasm.

In 2010, we took the decision to explore other activities within the sector. This is how our Plant Hotel started in 2011. As one of our clients in the Plant Hotel, we maintained good contacts with KMDA - Royal Society for Zoology - manager of ZOO Antwerp and ZOO Planckendael.

Soon the request came from KMDA to start a eucalyptus plantation in our greenhouse to provide food for their koalas. This was the start of a new challenge and also a sustainable collaboration.

Since July 2022, our plant hotel has been taken over and we focus entirely on growing more than 50 different species of eucalyptus both under protection and in outdoor cultivation, solely as food for koalas.

Anno 2022, we are a specialised eucalyptus supplier even beyond national borders. We are a family company and therefore take care and harvest our eucalyptus ourselves. A good customer relationship with open communication is something we value highly. That way, we try to respond quickly to everyone's needs and questions.
